Tim Ioannides’ Advice On Skin Conditions March 14, 2019

Tim Ioannides is an experienced dermatologist who owns a firm by the name Treasure Coast Dermatology. He went to the University of Miami and completed his residency in Miller School of Medicine –Department of Dermatology. He took most of his time working in and performing procedures that are related to cosmetics.

Although Ioannides envisioned himself establishing his own firm where he could focus on dermatology, his success did not come on a silver platter. He had to work in various cosmetic fields and with over 15 years, his firm serves a wide area in Florida and has crossed over into five locations.

Tim Ioannides in his extensive experience has seen almost all the kinds of skin conditions. He recognizes the fact that in dermatology, the common conditions that are usually experienced by patients are eczema, atopic dermatitis, and various inflammatory skin conditions. He also acknowledges that although there is no exact cure for skin conditions, lessening the severity of the condition can be done by dermatologists. They do so by the provision of the right diagnosis and giving topical applications that may reduce the symptoms.

In an article on Science Daily entitled, “Researcher Uses HPV Vaccine To Treat Patient With Skin Cancer”, Ioannides was cited as being involved and collaborating with Dr Anna Nichols, which is also a renowned dermatologist, in using the HPB vaccine as an off-label treatment by directly injecting it into the tumors, which proved to be successful, based on Dr Nichols’ case report.

Tim Ioannides has also used vitamin D supplements to help many people deal with skin conditions. Vitamin D helps the bones, the teeth, nervous and brain health, and boosts the immune system. Tim supposes that there is some people could have a deficiency of vitamin D through frequent use of sunscreen, not enough vitamin D in the diet, being overweight, being older, overstaying indoors, digestion disorders and staying too long in the sun. Signs of this deficiency are back pain, frequent illnesses, depression, hair loss, fatigue, and slow-healing wounds.

Tim Ioannides recommends that 10-15 minutes every day and sizeable vitamin D doses would help in solving the skin conditions. Generally, he prescribes 10000 IU vitamin D3 daily for patients. He encourages people to take vitamin D supplements as they are safe for patients.
